University Position on Discrimination in Fraternities
Description
In this official university correspondence from October 1968, John P. Dunlop (1929-2013) (Dean of Men at Bucknell from 1962-1968; Dean of Student Affairs from 1969-1988) reminds all of Bucknell University's position on discrimination in fraternities, which is basically a no-tolerance policy for those fraternities and sororities who continue to practice such restrictions in membership selection. Bucknell offers its help for those fraternities and sororities who intend to comply but who struggle to meet these restrictions adequately.
