Title

Summary of Intersocial Questionnaire

Subject

Questionnaire responses reveal student reception of sit-in strikes, integration, social unrest, and altruistic potential

Description

This document from May 1960 shares the results of the survey released to Bucknell students. The goal of the survey was to get an idea about students’ feelings and opinions on the Civil Rights movement, African American people, and integration in general. Interestingly, the responses are divided by those individuals in integrated versus segregated schools. Their variant feedback is telling and organized in table format.
