Subject
Bucknell column addresses racist attacks in the South
Description
This January 1952 Bucknellian article begins with a discussion of an incident in Florida where a Sheriff killed two black prisoners he was supposed to be escorting. The Columnist argues that this was not an isolated incident, as vandalism towards black religious establishments and residences is out of control as well. Ultimately, the author likens these attacks with the terrorist tactics of nazis.
